“Asphyxia” is a video performance created by four artists: Alina Tofan, Georgiana Vlahbei, Alexandru Claudiu Maxim, and Teo Radulescu.
The piece explores how we “stay with the trouble” of plastic pollution and unsustainable plastic consumption.
In their words, plastic is not guilty. Our emotions, desires, and needs—embodied in plastic objects—are disposable remnants of our reality.
Yet, they slowly suffocate the planet.
