“Habere & Sapere” explores the interplay between possession (habere) and knowledge (sapere)—two forces that shape identity. While acquiring objects and information brings comfort and status, it can overshadow our true essence.
Modern society equates “having more” with “being more,” fostering consumerism and superficial validation.
This work invites viewers to reflect on how consumption often eclipses personal and spiritual growth. Created as a time-lapse video of still images displayed digitally, the piece establishes a dialogue between what we own, what we know, and who we are.
