“Glory to the brave people” is a multidisciplinary project born in response to Venezuela’s socio-political crisis and the role of cyber-politics and media manipulation during times of repression.

The performance began as a VJing session using protest footage from Latin American news sources, projected onto the artist’s body as she removes makeup from her face.

Since the early 2000s, surveillance technologies—social media, apps—have not only monitored but shaped behavior.

This project reclaims those technologies through intimate exposure and performative catharsis.

By blending nudity and daily rituals, the artist creates a communion between public and private, reclaiming agency in a landscape of imposed visibility.
