About the Work:

“Life path” was born from reflection on the uncertainties of the present historical period, caused by a global pandemic that has put and still puts people’s lives to the test. Walking along a straight line, the human being, represented by the performer, heads towards a distant point in space that cannot be seen due to the fog and an enormous thorn bush that blocks the passage. When the performer reaches this barrier, he stops and with him also the ambient sound, making everything sink into a timeless mystical and spiritual dimension. The work represents in a conceptual key the path of life that is born from the darkness and dies in the darkness, in an infinite repetition. Sometimes, however, as in this case, the path is obstructed and prevents passage through space just as many events prevent the regular flow in the lives of each of us. This is how human beings find themselves having to go back changed, aware of walking and heading towards the end of their existence.
