“EMPIRE” is a subversive, symbolic, and satirical short film.

It emerges as the prologue to the feature-length project “The Brazilwood Women”, which explores the cisgender male body as object and its gradual deconstruction.

In this work, male genitals appear in a moment of struggle and instability.

By observing the phallus through the lens of tension and vulnerability, I seek to expose the cracks within social structures that so often go unquestioned.

It is the phallus seen through the “rift” — a fissure that allows us to glimpse what lies behind these constructs, offering an opportunity to reinvent and reconfigure power dynamics in contemporary narratives, from the ruins of a fallen phallus.
