The ancient Rarámuri civilization is both mysterious and fiercely protective of its traditions.

Living in seclusion deep within the ravines of the Sierra Madre in Mexico, they are known as the “men with winged feet.”

Their most sacred ritual is running for days with little sustenance.

Their cosmovision—rooted in time, movement, and resilience—has endured for millennia.

This work is a moving portrait of Silvino Cubesare, a runner who carves new trails with his own steps.

Despite massacres and neglect, he reemerges with steady strides, competing and supporting his community.

The Rarámuri know that utopia lies on the horizon—unreachable, yet it guides them, keeping them in motion.

Rhythm exists between silence and awareness—a convergence of mysterious force.
