“Cyborglatidoamericano” is a video performance that arises from the joint documentation of two extraordinary experiences during my time in Spain.

My first performance in Madrid (2019), OPEN ARMS, reflected on migration to Europe and was presented as part of the Pequeño Evento de Performance Art (PEPA) series, curated by Analia Beltrán I Janés.

It featured the participation of Georgina Rey (Argentina) and Nancy Castro (Mexico), both immigrants living in Madrid.

The second experience was my open-heart surgery, performed by Dr. Sergio González on October 15, 2020, at Santa Elena Hospital in Torremolinos, Málaga.
