The video performance I Love América emerges as a nod to Joaquín Torres García’s América Invertida.

In the piece, I tattoo an inverted map of Latin America onto my chest, reclaiming a political and historical reading of the continent.

For this edition, the video includes a new intervention: tracing the map of the United States and altering it until it resembles a massive wall.

Both actions engage in a dialogue, highlighting the tensions between identity, memory, and the increasing radicalization of U.S. policies in the region.
