About the Work:

Three portraits projected simultaneously. Each portrait is the representation of a simple movement but turned into an almost coordinated puzzle. The work experiments with the destruction and reconstruction of the visual supports and therefore with the image they contain. Causing a lag, a deconstruction in real time of the individual and identity.

The technique for this series of videos is based on the deconstruction of the supports. Each portrait was captured in digital format and then edited and decomposed into its frames. These frames were compiled to make 4 flipbooks for each video, giving a total of 12 flipbooks. These flip books were captured again in digital format and edited.
