The performance Δx = xf − x0 (displacement)#9 is based on the concept of displacement and the need to move due to the loss of one’s home.

The work is rooted in a personal experience: losing a childhood home to a natural disaster, raising questions about identity, belonging, and memory.

Filmed in the vast landscapes of the Svalbard Islands—home to the world’s northernmost settlement—during Arctic Action 2024, the video adds another layer to its intimate concept.

The Arctic, one of the planet’s most vulnerable regions, is warming faster than anywhere else.

Climate change is generating natural disasters, displacing communities, and reshaping lives.

In the performance, the artist uses found wooden strips to build a symbolic home and citrus fruits to evoke displaced elements while referencing personal childhood memories.
