Blue is an experimental short that explores a young man’s dissociative outlook of the world and himself. Stepping away from his traditions the story follows him as he finds it hard to come to terms with himself. The symbolism of color is important as it represents his dream state and his longing for freedom. The theme of water is also important as it speaks to a baptism and rebirth of new ideas.
